I have no idea when or why this idea popped into my head, but I always thought Naomi and Rosalia had a special connection. I'm not sure what Atlus was aiming for with the trippy-colors interlude after the Rosalia forensics case, but I guess it's their idea of a near-death hallucination or vision. I guess when your cell phone's a voodoo hotline, anything is fair game. But, I really loved how personally Naomi took Rosalia's case, especially considering solving her death was just a courtesy to a dead girl rather than a necessity. With how much Rosalia's spirit seemed to be hanging around Resurgam, this image popped into my head, after Naomi went under the knife.
I wish I had better background skills. The more I tried to digitally insert a backdrop, the worse it looked, so I decided to leave it blank. Also, this is the first time I haven't had to color-correct a Copic marker piece. c: YAY FIRST LEGIT PAINTING/DRAWING OF THE YEAR!

I bet Rosalia found peace in Naomi's fate after her big brother (and sister) came to the rescue, along with all the other victims of her eponymous virus. In a way, it was the combination of the adopted Sartre siblings themselves -- big brother and little sister -- who truly defeated the remnants of GUILT. Against all odds, Naomi's found her happy ending, and by god has she earned it. She now has a beautiful daughter, a sweet little cat, and even someone who's probably been in love with her for quite a long time.
As Rosalia's ill-fated brother Erhard once said, "Life will continue."
