Description
Self-portrait done last winter, with art teacher prompt "self portrait from an interesting perspective, any medium". I chose watercolor--well, technically it's goache, but I treated it like watercolor. ^_^
I depicted myself reaching out, with my hair actually behaving, and wearing my necklace and my favorite shirt at that point in time. Inspiration from Riku in the opening video of Kingdom Hearts.
This won 1st Place in Painting at the same Allied Art Show as my still life (see gallery).

It's really not just Riku who does poses like that. Quite a lot of Square's characters. And you captured that emotion brilliantly. =]
