Before and After - Sam + Frodo

I was bored yesterday and going through my Xanga Premium photo manager. (Yeah, I'm a loser.) I found this old drawing I did of the Sam and Frodo hug from the last scene of Fellowship of the Ring and decided to redraw it to see how far I've come. xDD

First one took approximately 4 hours, and was done in 2003--freshman year of high school.

Second one was done yesterday in about 40 minutes.

Surprisingly, it seems like I captured Elijah Wood's likeness better on my first try. Ah well.
